Bethany (Waterbury)

Type of Animal:
DSH Tuxedo
BETHANY came to us on Tuesday night, May 24th. She was paralyzed, unable to support her weight or walk. On Wednesday, May 25th we took her to see Dr. Dana at Embrace Animal Hospital for a preliminary exam and x-rays. Both were unremarkable, and no fractures were seen. We were referred to a specialist for a neuro exam, but it takes weeks if not months to get an appointment, so in the meantime we scheduled a skeletal exam, acupuncture and chiropractic adjustment with Dr. Karmen Couret, who sees lots of our animals, and immediately afterward we had a consult with our homeopathic vet, Dr. Robin Cannizzaro. This all happened on Friday, May 27th.
BETHANY's recovery has been nothing short of impressive, beginning just hours after her chirpractic adjustment, acupuncture, and homeopathic treatment! She is now 100% recovered and ready for her forever home. (You can watch her recovery unfold in her video.)
BETHANY lives in a foster home with 3 other cats. She's fine with all of them, plus a 20 lb dog who comes to visit. She loves to receive attention and play so a person or family who will spend time with her is best, and a playmate would be great.
BETHANY was born approximately March 2, 2022. She is feline aids (FIV) and leukemia (FeLV) negative, and will be spayed and vaccinated prior to adoption. BETHANY is being fostered in Waterbury, CT.
