Ellie (Brookfield, CT)

Type of Animal:
Polydactlyl Calico

ELLIE came to us in August 2022, heavily pregnant. She had been wandering around a feral cat colony in Hartford, crossing back & forth across a major road daily to get food, and squatting in the dank basement of a nearby tenemant home.

She was so relieved to be rescued from the streets, and on Sundaym September 4th gave birth to a litter of 8 kittens. Two of the kittens passed away early on, but the remaining 6 thrived. At this point ELLIE has weaned her kittens and is preparing for her own happily-ever-after.

ELLIE is approximately 1 year old. She is a super friendly cat who gets along well with other cats and dogs. She lives in a home with two teenagers and enjoys the company of humans.

ELLIE is a gorgeous polydactyle calico. (Polydactyl means she has extra toes on her paws.)

Living on the streets and then raising 6 kittens took a toll on ELLIE and she's very skilly now and always starving. She's going to need some time to adust and learn that food will always be available and she will never again go hungry.

ELLIE has tested negative for feline aids (FIV) and leukemia (FeLV). She has been dewormed. She will be spayed and vaccinated as soon as her milk has dries up and then she will be ready for adoption.
