Hettie (New Milford)

Type of Animal:
DSH Tabby & White

HETTIE is a little spitfire who loves other animals and currently lives in a home with 2 dogs, 5 adult cats, and 2 younger kittens (GAVIN & EMILIE).
As you will see in the video, HETTIE has a slight head tilt. It occurred when she was 8 weeks old, the day before she came to our rescue. We took her straight to the vet, and her ears are clean and the ear drums are intact. It is not an inner ear infection. We took her to another vet who confirmed that the ear drums are intact, and she performed a chiropractic adjustment because HETTIE's neck was very much out of alignment. The chiropractor indicated that HETTIE may have suffered an injury, perhaps from being scruffed too hard or something.
HETTIE has been passed over by several adopters because of her head tilt. While she can on occasion bebe a bit unsteady, in general the head tilt does not bother HETTIE at all, and none of our vets feel it is an issue. HETTIE is full of love and silliness, and she is a perfect kitten.
HETTIE will need a home where she can get a lot of attention. She needs other animals to play with and preferably humans who will also play with her. HETTIE will be great with children who are looking for an interactive kitten to play with.
HETTIE plays hard, but then settles down for a nap or just some cuddles. If you are looking for a loving kitten who will be all up in your business, can moonlight as your office assistant, BFF, and all-around constant companion, then HETTIE is your girl!
If by chance you'd like to adopt a magical trio of kittens, HETTIE would be over-the-moon to get adopted with her pals GAVIN & EMILIE, who are just a few weeks younger than she is.
HETTIE was born on March 17th, 2020. She is FIV/FeLV negative and will be spayed prior to adoption.
