Kellee (New Milford)

KELLEE rang in her 17th birthday on October 11th, 2025 in a foster home. We really hope she finds her forever family before Christmas.



She is the sweetest dog you will ever meet and she gets along great with other dogs and cats, but she'd prefer a home with dogs who will respect her space.



KELLEE is the kind of dog who is happy to lounge around in a comfy bed all day, but she also enjoys a nice walk so she can sniff around and stay abreast of the local neighborhood news. She loves meeting new people, but she is not a big fan of car rides.



At nighttime KELLEE likes to be tucked into bed under her blanket. She is a gentle soul who just wants a soft place to land for her golden years.



KELLEE has significant arthritis in her hips, so it can be painful jumping in and out of the car and/or going up and down stairs. She has some early kidney disease which is common in senior dogs, but otherwise her bloodwork looks good. She can be a finicky eater, so a food rotation tends to work well.

KELLEE likes children, but because of her arthritis, older, experienced kids would be. best.



KELLEE is housebroken, but needs to go outside to go potty regularly, at least every 4 hours, due to her senior kidneys. She would love a human who is home a lot or who could take her to work with them.
