Mittens Kitten HEMI

Type of Animal:
DSH Tuxedo

Meet Hemi (short for Hemingway). Hemi was born on May 19th, 2019 to mom Mittens. Mittens and all of Hemi's siblings are polydactyl, which means they have extra toes on the paws. Polydactyl cats are also referred to as "Hemingway Cats" after Ernest Hemingway, whose home in Key West, Florida has hundreds of polydactyl cats roaming around.

Hemi is not polydactly, but she doesn't need extra toes to be special. She has a larger than life personality and she'll stand out in the room in spite of being surrounded by her siblings and their glorious feet. Hemi loves to play, run and tackle her siblings, and cuddle up for a nap when playtime is over.

Hemi would love to be adopted with one of her siblings if you're interested in a bonded pair.

Hemi is FIV/FeLV negative and will be spayed prior to adoption.  Click here to submit an online application to adopt a cat.
