Rosie Mae (Waterford)

Type of Animal:
Boxer Mix

Rosie Mae has been raised since 8 weeks of age by a woman who loves her very much. Sadly though, Rosie’s owner has become disabled and can no longer care for Rosie.
Rosie is a young, loving, energetic Boxer/Lab/American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Rosie needs an owner who will walk her and provide her with mental and physical stimulation. She loves to run and play fetch and would benefit greatly from a fenced in back yard, as she will take off if not on a leash.  Rosie is not a high energy dog, but she does have energy to burn.
Rosie loves other dogs and has previously lived with a cat that she used to play with.  We think Rosie would do well in a home with another friendly dog that will keep her company and play with her.
Rosie is extremely affectionate with people and considers herself a lap dog. She is a snuggler and needs a person who doesn't mind her sleeping in bed with them or hogging the couch.
Rosie seems to do best on a home cooked diet which we are happy to share with you.
Rosie Mae was born on 8/27/2015 and weighs 43 lbs. She is spayed, up-to-date on her rabies, distemper, lyme, leptospirosis, and bordatella vaccines and microchipped. She is being fostered in Waterford, CT.
