Tank (Waterbury)

Type of Animal:
American Staffordshire Terrier Mix

Meet Tank! He's the happiest dog you will ever meet and the epitome of a "smiling pit bull".

Tank has clearly been loved by somebody during his lifetime, but then he was abandoned on the streets of an inner city neighborhood.

When a Good Samaritan found him he had blood in his urine and was suffering from a severe urinary tract infection. (This is probably why he was abandoned.) In any event, Tank is now safe with us and available to become your fabulous companion.

Tank loves people! He just wants to be with you as you'll see in his video. He's good with the dogs he has met and is currently living in a home with a small dog. He is also living with a toddler, but we recommend older kids simply because Tank is 40 lbs of solid muscle. He is very interested in cats, but he seems more curious than anything. Of course a formal cat-test will be warranted if you have a cat.

Tank is a young dog (between 3-5) and will benefit from daily exercise to burn off some of his energy. Don't worry, he also loves to chill on the couch.

He is neutered, vaccinated, heart worm tested, and has fully recovered from his UTI. To adopt Tank click here to submit an online application to adopt a dog. He's in Waterbury, CT.
