Rusty (Middletown)

RUSTY was born on 03.08.2017. He just turned 9 years old, and yes, he's a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel.

RUSTY is a very friendly dog! He is amazing with other dogs and people, and would be great in a home with kids. He hasn't been around cats, but his foster mom thinks he may just bark at them.

RUSTY has lived his entire life with one family. An older couple. First his mom passed away and it was just he and his dad. Then his dad passed away and RUSTY lost everything.

He went to live with a family member who loves him to pieces and wants to keep him, but she is only allowed one dog in her condo and she already has a dog. The condo association is unwilling to let RUSTY stay.

So RUSTY, despite being loved and wanted, is officially homeless and needs to find a soft place to land ASAP.  He has to be out of the condo by Wednesday. We have another foster home for him to move to, but would prefer to move him once into his forever home as opposed to being moved again and then again when he gets adopted.

RUSTY has great energy, loves to go for walks and car rides, and will benefit from an active family because he needs to lose a few pounds.

RUSTY is fully vetted - neutered, vaccinated for rabies & distemper, negative for heartworm, Lyme, Anaplasmosis, and Erlichiosis. He's microchipped. RUSTY is being fostered in Middletown, CT. Submit an online application to adopt a dog if you are interested. He's absolutely worth it.
