We pulled this sweet puppy from the Waterbury Pound. She was found wandering the streets and is extremely emaciated, but as sweet as pie.
RENI is so skinny we are not quite sure how old she is, but she is definitely a puppy, under 1 year old. She will probably weigh 15 lbs once she's gained her weight back. We currently believe her to be a chihuahua mix, maybe mixed with miniature pincher. (Not entirely sure yet.)
RENI settled right into her foster home where she had a bath and a much needed pedicure to address her very long nails.
She is way too thin to undergo surgery at this time for her spay, but we will be taking her to the vet this week for an exam and bloodwork. Then we just need to fatten her up a bit before completely her vetting.
RENI is good with other dogs and cats, both of which live in her foster home.
