Dolly (New Milford)
Meet DOLLY! She and her siblings came in from a horrible hoarding situation, and frankly, we don't even know if they are related or who their mom may be. We simply assume they are related because they appear to be about the same age.
When they arrived they were soooo sick. They had terrible upper respiratory infections which have finally cleared after multiple rounds of antibiotics, and coccidia, which has been treated as well.
These kittens cohabitate in our cat room with a cat named MELINDA who has been instrumental in raising these babies, even though her own babies are grown now. She couldn't nurse them, but she does offer a calm, loving maternal vibe and we are forever appreciative for that.
They are great with each other, other cats, and even our Canine Foster Mommy SCOOTER GRACE.
These kittens are all lap cats. (DOLLY is very snuggly.) The minute we walk in the room they come to greet us and want to be held and petted. Even though they haven't met any children, they will be fine with gentle, respectful kids who will play with them.
We are guesstimating that they were born around May 6th, 2026. While small for their age, they are playful, happy, and getting healthier by the day.
All of the kittens tested negative for FIV/FeLV and they will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated when they are big enough as part of their adoption agreement.
If you are interested in adopting, submit an online application to. adopt a cat. They are being fostered in New Milford, CT.
